It’s that time: we’ve made it to December’s Zodiac signs. However, since we’ve covered both in previous posts, we’re just going to give you the basic run-down. If you’d like to read more about them be sure to click the links within the text.

Sagittarius (November 23rd – December 22nd)

The modern image of Sagittarius comes from a combination of the Babaloniyan’s Nergal and the Greek’s Chiron. Both feature a creature that’s half man, half horse, and skilled in archery.

This half of December’s Zodiac signs is optimistic and idealistic, striving to achieve big dreams. They’re also naive, which can sometimes be their downfall when setting goals that may be unachievable. However, that’s the nature of this free-spirited sign. If travelling for work is their passion or working in nature is their goal, then that’s what they’ll put their mind to.

Capricorn (December 21st – January 19th)

As you may know, many signs have been based off Babylonian fables, and Capricorn is no different. The common image of a horned goat torso with a fish tail goes back to the Sumerian god of wisdom and water, Enki.

Capricorns are said to be the more determined of December’s Zodiac signs. Being an earth sign keeps them grounded, and unfortunately, stubborn. They’re a sign that believes in quality over quantity, especially when it comes to company. They enjoy relaxed activities, such as gardening and reading, so don’t expect to take them skydiving with a Scorpio anytime soon.
